At the David Stinson Holiday Club, over the first four weeks of the summer holidays we had an amazing time performing some of the best of London theatre! Nearly 300 children joined us for 4 fun filled weeks, Rory said ???I loved it, yay!, Isabella said ???I loved being Matilda, because I???m a little bit naughty!???; what glowing endorsements from our little stars. We truly are striving to be one of the best theatre schools in the London, and this summer we have further enhanced teaching of acting, dancing, and singing. In the first week of summer we performed Oliver! The Musical based upon the famous novel written by Charles Dickens, this was a great week with us really getting into character for this dramatic musical. The second week of the summer we performed Matilda the Musical by Roald Darl, and this week we really got to get into the role of being naughty children and revolting children; it was truly excellent any stage school would be proud, good enough to be in the West End now! During the third week of the summer we performed Mary Poppins, a spectacular time with family pleasing fun time; even our cockney accents could rival that of Dick Van Dyke ????. We all got creative making our own kites to soar up to the highest height. In our final week of the summer holiday club we performed The School of Rock the Musical, lots of energy being expended in the pursuit of the ultimate rock song loads of high-octane rocking! We did have lots of fun across all of the weeks taking part in a range of calmer and team building activities such as the ultimate tower challenge, constructing edible bridges, egg holder challenge, and extreme colouring challenge. Wow, we did loads, look forward to seeing you soon!
