SEND School - Magical Moments

The performing arts can encourage your child to explore their emotions, expanding their imagination and helping them develop their own, unique voice. The subjects that we offer are drama and music - these subjects engage a child's brain, body and emotions in different ways to encourage their confidence and find joy in self-expression.

Classes are led by qualified and experienced teachers, all of whom have taught in special educational settings. We have a ratio of 4:1 (four children to one adult). If your child needs a 1-2-1, you will be required to source funding for this yourself - your local authority and/or disability service may be able to assist with this. We do ask that parents/carers do not stay in the class for two reasons: 1. We require all adults to be DBS Checked and have been through our safeguarding training; 2. From experience, children's learning and focus is disrupted if their parent/carer are in the room which then in turn disrupts other children's learning.

Children will have the opportunity to gain graded qualifications through International Performing Arts & Theatre, which is a government regulated examination board.
